1. Who is responsible

2. Data we process and why

To run the app: your account and profile (email, username, date of birth, gender, photos, study details, preferences), room listings, likes, connections and messages, and verification documents you send us. To show ads in the free version: your device's advertising identifier, IP address and ad interactions. To manage subscriptions: your plan and its status; payment itself is handled by Apple or Google. We do not sell your data.

3. Who receives it

Service providers that host and store the data, send emails, provide maps and address search, manage subscriptions and deliver notifications, and the app stores. Ads are provided by third parties, including Google (how Google uses this data). Our servers are in the EU (Belgium); some providers process data in the United States, based on the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. Deleting your account in the app deletes your data (how to delete your account).

5. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing and withdraw consent by writing to info@bloomdev.io. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or your EU data protection authority.

6. Changes

We update this page when our processing changes.
